King’s College London sent us a brief to create a short video that explained what Administrative Data Research is and how it can benefit us. They wanted it to be fun and informative in order to connect with the audience effectively.

We were really excited to explore a hand-drawn animation style as we felt this would fit perfectly with the subject matter. The project was lead by the talented Jay Elias Foster who got straight to work designing the look and feel of the animated world. We also collaborated with the King’s team to develop the script, which needed to strike this balance of education and fun.

The playful characters and animations we devised drove the narrative and achieved the desired tone that the King’s team were looking for. We created a video that broke down the Administrative Data Research into its fundamental pillars and presented this information in a way that is easy to receive.
